The production of the TV series Sin senos sí hay paraíso is going through one of its darkest moments after a stabbing attack occurred during a filming session in Bogotá.
The incident left three people dead, including the attacker, and shocked actors, crew members, and fans of the production.
The victims were identified as Henry Alberto Benavides Cárdenas, 45, and Nicolás Francisco Perdomo Corrales, 18, both members of the production team.
The tragedy took place on Saturday, April 18, at Parque Nacional Oriental, in the Santa Fe district, in a public area.

Henry Alberto Benavides was not an actor, but his role was essential to the production.
He worked as the driver of the production truck, a job that required long hours and constant travel.

Carmen Villalobos remembered him on social media with a heartfelt message highlighting his importance.
“Like many others, Henry was one of the ‘invisible’ people on set. The kind you rarely see, but without whom nothing works,” she wrote.

Villalobos also emphasized his dedication and the risks he faced daily.
“He woke up two hours before the rest of the crew every day to have the truck ready,” she added.
Meanwhile, Carolina Gaitán shared a brief but powerful message:

Mourning Nicolás Francisco Perdomo’s death

The death of Nicolás Francisco Perdomo, just 18 years old, deeply affected the team.
He was remembered as a cheerful and kind person by those who worked with him.
Gaitán honored him with a message reflecting the sadness of the moment:
“I had to capture your smile because you always brightened my day. I honor your life and I will miss you.”

According to the official report, a man arrived at the location and attacked a member of the production with a sharp weapon.
The assault occurred without any prior confrontation, according to authorities.
Giovanni Cristancho, brigadier general of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, explained:
“A man, without saying a word, attacked a citizen with a sharp weapon.”

Fight, arrests, and legal process
After the initial attack, several people attempted to intervene to defend the victim.
During the struggle, the attacker injured two more individuals, increasing the number of victims.
“Subsequently, several people present at the scene came to the victim’s defense,” Cristancho added.
That same day, four individuals were detained amid the confusion caused by the confrontation.

The leaked video of the exact moment
Two days after the tragedy, a video captured by security cameras from the Roosevelt Institute came to light.
The images were broadcast on television and show the moments before and after the attack.
In the recording, Nicolás can be seen at the security booth while the attacker walks through the area.
Seconds later, the man returns, pulls out a knife, and attacks him from behind, confirming the version that he acted without warning.

The video reinforced the official version that the attack occurred without apparent provocation.
In the footage, coworkers can also be seen trying to assist the young man and stop the attacker.
One of the injured people died after being taken to a hospital, while another remains in critical condition.
According to recent reports, two of the detainees have already been released after their defense argued self-defense amid the chaos that left a filming day marked by violence, as reported by El Heraldo de México and ABC Noticias.
