According to reports from Heraldo de México, a 19-year-old woman died in a fire inside a home in Paraguay after the blaze was allegedly started by the ex-partner of her boyfriend.
The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, in the Quinta de Nanawa neighborhood, located in the department of Presidente Hayes.
The victim was identified as Amalia Beatriz Cáceres, known as “China’i.”
Authorities are investigating the Paraguay jealousy fire case while the suspects remain in custody.

According to initial police reports, Amalia was inside a modest home with her partner, Cristian Rolón.
At that moment, Rolón’s ex-partner, identified as Porfiria Giménez, arrived at the residence.
According to the account given by the police chief, the woman had learned that Rolón was sleeping with the victim.
The situation quickly escalated into a confrontation inside the house.
Witnesses reported that Porfiria and Amalia began arguing inside the home.
The argument turned violent and escalated into physical aggression.

According to witnesses cited by local media, the young woman was knocked unconscious inside the house.
Shortly afterward, the fire began.
Initial investigations indicate that the suspected attacker set fire to the mattress.
The flames spread rapidly throughout the fragile structure.
Cristian Rolón Managed to Escape the Fire
When the mattress caught fire, Cristian Rolón attempted to remove the burning object from inside the house.
The man managed to escape the building as the flames spread.
During the attempt, he suffered burns on one of his hands.
However, Amalia Beatriz Cáceres was unable to escape in time.
The young woman became trapped inside the burning home.
The fire quickly consumed the structure.
As a result, the victim died inside the house.
The incident occurred in front of neighbors who later alerted authorities.
The victim was 19 years old and, according to local media reports, was the mother of two children.
Her mother later filed a complaint for murder related to the burns that caused her death.
Following the incident, police in Paraguay arrested Porfiria Giménez.
Cristian Rolón was also detained

Both were placed at the disposal of the authorities and later transferred to the 4th Police Station in Villa Hayes.
Authorities continue collecting statements to clarify what happened in the Paraguay jealousy fire case.
The investigation aims to determine each person’s responsibility in the incident.
According to information provided by authorities to local media, Rolón reportedly has prior criminal records, including cases related to theft, intentional homicide and incidents involving fires.
Porfiria Giménez, meanwhile, is also reported to have a previous record related to theft.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities attempt to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to the young woman’s death.
