Frontón Island: A Territory in Dispute

Recently, Texas completed Operation Flat Top, a project aimed at clearing the island and installing barbed wire, News4 San Antonio.

Texas authorities argued that the cartel used this territory as a strategic point to facilitate migrant crossings.

The Texas DPS maintains active surveillance in the region, aiming to protect border agents and reinforce security measures against possible attacks.
