The brother of iconic singer Selena Quintanilla shared the news on his Instagram account, posting a photo from his hospital bed and explaining the circumstances of his hospitalization.
In his post, AB revealed that he began feeling unwell toward the end of a concert in Santa Cruz.
«Last night, towards the end of our show, I felt strange, so I went to the emergency room,» he commented, hoping to clarify the situation and avoid speculation about his health.

Once at the hospital, doctors diagnosed AB with dehydration but also discovered a more serious complication: «I found out I had fluid in my right lung… My back has been hurting for two weeks, thinking I had injured a muscle in my upper back… but that wasn’t the case,» he explained.
Despite the concern among his followers, AB Quintanilla quickly reassured them that he was stable.
«I’m okay now, but I won’t lie, I was scared… Always remember, health comes first!» he added, emphasizing the importance of self-care.
