Lupillo Rivera’s recent participation in the Telemundo reality show La Casa de los Famosos has generated a wave of mixed opinions.
However, it was Doña Rosa, the renowned singer’s mother, who has people talking about her appearance on Pica y Se Extiende along with Verónica Bastos and Carlos Adyan.
Doña Rosa expressed her annoyance at the critical comments the presenters made about her son.

Doña Rosa defends Lupillo Rivera
Once Lupillo Rivera’s mother was welcomed onto the Telemundo show, she said that it was her time to state her position.
«Why do they throw so much at Lupillo? Why are they attacking him? Why do they say so many things to Lupillo? Why? Do they pay them more?» asked the matriarch of the Rivera dynasty directly.
«Until now I’ve heard everything that you and the other woman say to him, so I don’t think it’s right. Attack them all,» she told them. «Now it’s your turn to deal with what I say.»
While Doña Rosa faced them, Adyan prepared to respond, although Bastos stepped forward, putting himself in her shoes as a mother, and agreed: «What she says is true.»

Despite Bastos’ attempts to calm the situation and support Doña Rosa’s position, Adyan did not hesitate to defend his right to express his opinion.
«No, I can’t go against what I think. Mrs. Rosa, with all due respect, we are here open for you to give your opinion, but we have the right to give ours if we do not like the behavior,» he stated.
«I personally speak for myself, if I don’t like your son’s behavior I have every right to say so,» Adyan made clear.
Doña Rosa was not happy about this and continued to defend her son.

«Listen, but what a coincidence how they have attack him, even here I can smell Lupillo’s flesh… How they have attacked him! You have burned it and you continue to burn it!» said Doña Rosa.
Given this, Adyan maintained his position, saying: «I do not regret anything I have said.»
Doña Rosa’s remarks generated a wave of reactions on social media, where users expressed both support and criticism about the Rivera matriarch’s attitude.
