Raúl de Molina starred in an uncomfortable moment during one of the broadcasts of ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’, a show he hosts alongside Lili Estefan.
The host of the popular Univision program couldn’t contain himself and exploded against the producer of the show.
Molina was so upset with what he had to endure on the live program that he even stated that if it were up to him, the producer would be out.

Raúl de Molina explodes in the program
It’s not new for Raúl de Molina to complain about being cut off while speaking on the show ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’, making comments about it.
Before moving on to another segment or a commercial break, Molina often remarks that he’s being signaled to wrap up and move on to the next topic.
During a broadcast of the popular Univision program, the host was once again interrupted by the production team, but this time it was different.
Raúl de Molina exploded against the show’s producer for the interruption he experienced.
He goes against the producer
«If I were in charge of the show, I’d fire him right now,» exclaimed the host during the live broadcast of the popular Univision program ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’ on Monday, March 18.
Renowned presenter Raúl de Molina expressed his indignation and frustration after being taken off the air while speaking, without receiving any prior explanation from the production team.
This incident, which occurred in the segment following the commercial break, created a moment of tension and surprise on the program’s set.
De Molina, known for his straightforward style and candor on screen, did not hide his annoyance at what had happened.
They cut it during transmission
Amidst his conversation with his colleague Lili Estefan, the broadcast was abruptly interrupted, leaving the host with unfinished thoughts and viewers bewildered.
Upon returning to the air in the following segment, Raúl de Molina spoke up to express his dissatisfaction with the program’s production.
«I want to say something because I was talking and they took me off the air without saying anything… They cut me off while I was speaking. It seems sad to me,» began De Molina, visibly upset by the incident.
The Cuban presenter, who has been in the television industry for over 30 years, emphasized the lack of respect he perceived in this action.
Gets angry with the production of the show
He noted that the program ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’ was created for him and Lili 25 years ago, and that the interruption without prior notice by a relatively new producer on the team was unacceptable to him.
«It was created for me and Lili 25 years ago, and it’s about what we talk about. Then a producer, who started here 3 or 4 years ago, who has no idea what ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’ is about,» he pointed out.
«For someone who has been on the air for 30 years, to be cut off while they are talking about something, and go to commercials,» he said, annoyed.
However, it didn’t end there, as Raúl de Molina continued to express his annoyance with the cut they made while he was telling a story about his daughter’s work.
He wants to fire the producer
«I don’t understand the lack of respect they allow these people to show here. Because if I were a producer, I would never in my life think of it,» he concluded.
Despite his co-host Lili Estefan’s attempts to smooth over the situation, suggesting that perhaps it was a misunderstanding or a joke on the part of the production, Raúl de Molina stood his ground.
He reiterated that he considered the action a lack of respect towards his career and experience in television.
«I don’t think it’s a joke. If I were in charge of the show, I’d fire them right now,» De Molina affirmed, highlighting his frustration with what had happened.
Lili Estefan
Despite his statements about firing the producer, he clarified that he doesn’t have total control over the show’s decisions, and jokingly acknowledged Lili Estefan as the owner of the show.
However, something that internet users pointed out was Lili Estefan’s apparent complicity with the production of the show to cut off Raúl de Molina.
«But it was Lili who asked for him to be cut off,» «But even Lili was saying to cut him off,» «The ‘Flaca’ gave the command,» they commented on social media.
