ICE Maintains Multimillion-Dollar Reward for Information on El Chapo’s Sons

The search for members of the faction known as «Los Chapitos» has gained renewed attention after a reminder issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The agency reiterated that it is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the location, arrest, and conviction of Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar.
The announcement was shared through ICE’s official account on X.
The agency also issued a warning to the public.

ICE urged the public not to attempt to capture either individual.
According to the agency, both men are considered armed and dangerous.
The post reaffirmed that the ICE reward Los Chapitos program remains in effect.
The agency said any credible information may assist ongoing investigations.

In its statement, ICE identified Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar as members of the criminal organization commonly known as «Los Chapitos.»
The agency alleges that they are part of the faction that inherited portions of the drug trafficking network associated with Joaquín «El Chapo» Guzmán Loera.
ICE stated that both men remain fugitives.
For that reason, the agency confirmed that it continues to offer a reward of up to $10 million.

The reward applies to information leading to their location, arrest, and subsequent conviction.
ICE again emphasized that members of the public should not attempt to apprehend either suspect on their own.
The agency stressed that both individuals are considered highly dangerous.
ICE also republished its official channels for submitting information.
Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is encouraged to contact Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Who Are «Los Chapitos»?
According to U.S. authorities, the Sinaloa Cartel remains one of the world’s most influential transnational criminal organizations.
The U.S. government alleges that the organization is responsible for trafficking fentanyl and other illegal drugs into the United States.
Authorities also accuse the organization of involvement in kidnapping, homicide, and money laundering.
Within that organization, U.S. agencies identify a faction made up of several sons of Joaquín «El Chapo» Guzmán Loera.
Although the group is widely known as «Los Chapitos,» U.S. authorities also refer to it in official documents as «Los Menores.»
The faction is identified as including:
- Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar
- Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar
- Ovidio Guzmán López, also known as «El Ratón»
- Joaquín Guzmán López
Family Structure Identified by U.S. Authorities
The Guzmán family also included Édgar Guzmán López.
Édgar died on May 8, 2008.
According to publicly available information, he was killed during an armed attack.
He was 22 years old.
ICE’s latest announcement once again places Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar at the center of the agency’s investigation.
According to the agency, both men remain fugitives.
