The situation recently took an unexpected turn when the siblings did an interview on the Doble G YouTube channel.

Yahritza y Su Esencia likes Mexican food! They said they like some Mexican dishes, especially tacos de canasta.

Yahritza Martínez, the group’s singer, enthusiastically talked about what she ate in Mexico.

The singer said several times that she and her brothers enjoyed tacos de canasta.

She even noted that they tried these delicious snacks at a street vendor near their hotel in Mexico City.

«Even when we left the hotel, where we stayed, we also ate tacos de canasta (…) we were surprised because we liked the tacos de canasta,» she said.

«And well, they’re made of pork rinds, right?… pork rinds, they’re made of different things,» added the singer.

Armando Martínez, known as Mando, added that they decided to give Mexican food another chance by visiting a traditional restaurant.

«I didn’t know places like that (…) Then we went with our publicist to a restaurant and we liked it,» Mando said in an interview.

The group also admitted that their initial perception of Mexican food had been wrong.

They claimed they had purchased food they believed to be authentic through food delivery apps or at fast food chains.

This revelation led to a deeper understanding of the importance of exploring authentic local cuisine.
