How can I vote?

By Mail: All registered voters in New Mexico can vote by mail.

To request an absentee ballot, contact your county clerk’s office, fill out an online application, or submit a paper application to your county clerk’s office.

Completed absentee ballots must reach your county clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. You can return your ballot by mail or in person at the county clerk’s office or any Election Day polling place.

Early In-person: Early voting at alternate sites begins 28 days before Election Day and ends on the Saturday before. Visit NMVote.org or contact your county clerk’s office for locations and times.

Election Day: Polling sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you’re in line by closing time, you can still vote.
