What you may not know about Galilea Montijo

In a few more weeks, Martha Galilea Montijo Torres, will turn 51 years old.

From a very young age, she showed interest in dancing and it in 1991 she appeared on the TVO show, which Gaby Ruffo hosted.

A couple of years later, she won the Chica TV beauty and talent contest, beating Natalia Esperón, Nora Salinas and Susana González.

Few remember that she starred in the telenovela La Verdad Oculta in 2006 along with Eduardo Yáñez, Gabriel Soto and Alejandra Barros,

Galilea Montijo has a brilliant career as a television host

Gali began gaining fame hosting Vida TV with Héctor Sandarti and Lili Brillanti.

After appearing on Big Brother VIP and Bailando Por un Sueño, she became the host of La Hora de Papa.

But the show that catapulted her to fame, and which she is still hosting today, is Hoy.

In fact, it was on this morning show where we saw Galilea Montijo pole dancing.

She takes pole dancing classes

According to Noticias ZMG, in May 2016 something surprising happened on Hoy.

Pole dancing experts gave viewers a lesson.

Both Galilea Montijo and Andrea Legarreta paid close attention to their instructions.
