Jenni Rivera’s sister is wearing denim in solidarity with women who have suffered from sexual violence.
«Today is denim day, where we wear denim to represent unity with all victims of sexual harassment or assault,» Rosie said.
She offers a message of unity
«In 1992 a judge in Italy said that it was not possible that a woman wearing jeans could be raped,» added the Top Chef VIP star.
«They were very tight, she had to give her consent to take off those pants,» continued Rosie Rivera.
«Since 1999 we have been wearing jeans on this day saying, ‘No, it’s not the victim’s fault, it doesn’t matter what they wear,'» said Jenni Rivera’s sister.
«Here we are united with the victims, if they decide to raise their voices, we believe them and we are with them,» she concluded her message.
