Singer Raphael was rushed to the hospital on December 17 while recording a Christmas special for the show La revuelta.

During the recording, he began experiencing serious health issues that required immediate medical attention.

As a result, he was transferred to the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, where he remains hospitalized.

His agency, RLM, recently announced that Raphael has been diagnosed with a serious neurological condition.

RLM also announced that the international tour Raphael had planned to begin in early 2025 has been canceled due to medical advice for a long period of rest.

The agency requested respect for the artist’s and his family’s privacy during this delicate time.

Although RLM did not specify the diagnosis, El País newspaper revealed that Raphael has been diagnosed with brain lymphoma.

According to medical information provided by the hospital, it is a primary brain lymphoma with two brain nodules that caused the neurological symptoms he experienced upon admission.

The singer is receiving specific treatment for this condition, which will continue on an outpatient basis once he is discharged.

Brain lymphoma is a rare cancer that affects lymphocytes within the central nervous system.

Symptoms include headaches, confusion, changes in vision, and difficulty walking, among others.
