«They broke into my house, my wife was there, my children were there, and everyone was very scared,» he explained.

«I had 10 armed men upstairs, 10 downstairs, checking my house, turning it upside down,» Brincos Dieras told the TV host.

«They were after me. I was doing a show, and they told me to ‘cut it,’ then they took me in a van and hid me,» he said.

«I wasn’t very famous, but I don’t know, maybe they had a grudge against me,» he commented.

The comedian recalled that in Monterrey, during that time, it was common for people from various professions to be victims of kidnappings.

«It became very common back then for any person to be kidnapped, a taco vendor, an ice cream seller, anyone,» he mentioned.

When asked if he now takes greater precautions due to his growing popularity, Brincos Dieras said he doesn’t change his work habits.

«I try to work with the people who hire me,» he emphasized, suggesting the incident was isolated and possibly a mistake.

«No one knew what happened, it was just that one time. They didn’t bother me again, didn’t call me, didn’t ask for money,» the comedian argued.

Yordi Rosado suggested that the kidnapping attempt might have been a case of mistaken identity, to which Brincos Dieras agreed.

«Yes, or maybe they went to the wrong house, but my wife was really upset,» concluded Roberto Carlo.
