According to Daily Mail, Alejandro Hernández Fuentes was one of the six workers who died in the bridge collapse in Baltimore.

His body was found alongside that of Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, a 26-year-old from Guatemala.

Obdulia Fuentes, Alejandro’s mother, said her son followed her to the U.S. from Mexico in 2006.

She said he always was a great son and that he caught up with her in the United States because he couldn’t bear to be without his mother.

However, she doesn’t remember exactly what they talked about on that occasion.

«I didn’t know it would be my last conversation with him. I regret not telling him I love him,» said Alejandro Hernández Fuentes’ mother.

She mentioned that her son lived far from her, and that’s why she couldn’t see him every day to hug him.
