Sangha was described by prosecutors as the “Ketamine Queen” of North Hollywood.
The 15-year sentence is more severe than those given to the other four co-defendants.
Initially, prosecutors indicated she faced up to 65 years in prison.
Maximum legal penalties included up to 20 years for maintaining a drug-involved premises.
They also included up to 10 years for each count of ketamine distribution.
And up to 15 years for distribution resulting in death or serious injury. Ultimately, the sentence was set at 15 years.

Matthew Perry was found dead in October 2023. The actor was discovered in a jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles.

According to prosecutors, Sangha worked with Erik Fleming in October 2023. Together, they sold 51 vials of ketamine to Perry’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa.
Iwamasa administered the substance to the actor. The anesthetic is short-acting.
Fleming and Iwamasa had already reached plea agreements with prosecutors.

Jasveen Sangha pleaded guilty seven months before sentencing. She admitted to five serious charges related to the overdose.
These include maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of ketamine distribution, and one count of distribution resulting in death.
In total, five individuals faced charges in the case.
All pleaded guilty. Those involved include Sangha, Fleming, Iwamasa, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, and Dr. Mark Chavez.
An autopsy report from December 2023 determined the cause of death. It was classified as accidental.
The primary cause was the acute effects of ketamine. Contributing factors included drowning and coronary artery disease. The effects of buprenorphine were also considered.
