Vice President Kamala Harris responded to numerous celebrity endorsements in the 2024 presidential race, including the backing of megastar Taylor Swift.
The Democratic nominee was interviewed by radio host Stephanie ‘Chiquibaby’ Himonidis, who brought up the endorsements from Swift and other stars.
Himonidis also mentioned the names of George Lopez and Eva Longoria before asking Harris about a Mexican band that withdrew their collaboration with Nicky Jam, who recently endorsed Trump.
Harris expressed being “very grateful” to the artists who understood the importance of the election and supported her candidacy.

«I am very honored to have their support,» the vice president said.
Hours after the interview, singer Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas announced their endorsement of Kamala Harris on X.
Harris’s comments on Chiquibaby marked the first time she directly addressed celebrity endorsements.
Without mentioning specific names, Harris thanked the artists for speaking out in her favor.
Kamala Harris’ campaign has celebrated these endorsements, highlighting Swift as a superstar supporting the Democratic candidate.
«I will be a president for all Americans,» Harris declared.

She reiterated her call to “turn the page” on the division and extremism of the last decade.
“There is too much at stake in this election,” Harris added.
Swift’s endorsement of Harris came shortly after last Tuesday’s debate.
Swift shared on Instagram that she will vote for Harris in the 2024 election, praising her leadership and decision to choose Tim Walz as her running mate.
More than 400,000 people followed the link in Swift’s post to register to vote within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Trump responded with a post on Truth Social saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Kamala Harris avoided commenting directly on the controversy between Mana and Nicky Jam, who endorsed Trump.
The Mexican band cut ties with Nicky Jam, declaring they «don’t work with racists.»
