The sheriff’s spokesperson, Skyler Talbot, explained that ICE notified the county dispatch center before beginning its activities.
Talbot stated that agents reported completing their operations and leaving Summit County at 9:30 a.m.
“From what I understand, all of their operations were carried out within the city of Park City,” the spokesperson said.
Local authorities did not participate in the actions carried out by federal agents.

The Park City Police Department also addressed the ICE operation.
Lieutenant Danielle Snelson stated that the intervention was “targeted” and that no assistance was requested from local police.
Snelson clarified that the department did not receive any request for support during the operation.

Additionally, she did not confirm witness reports claiming that agents were seen at multiple locations across the city.
Some residents reported seeing or photographing federal agents in different areas during the early hours of April 29.
However, these reports were not officially verified by local authorities.

The Wasatch Latino Coalition reported that among those detained near Heber may have been high school students.
This claim increased concern within the community about the scope of the operation.
