A 55-year-old woman was arrested at Miami International Airport for making a false bomb threat.
The individual, identified as Carmen Rosa Solislerqux, is a swim instructor originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
According to authorities, the woman claimed she had a bomb in her bag while standing in line at Terminal D of the airport.
A detective immediately pulled her from the line, inspected her belongings, and questioned her.
Carmen Rosa Solislerqux Claimed It Was a Joke, but Was Still Arrested

During questioning, Solislerqux said she was “just joking,” according to a report by a Miami-Dade officer.
Although no explosives were found in her three bags, she was arrested nonetheless.
The incident occurred on Sunday, and she was booked early Monday morning into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Carmen Rosa Solislerqux now faces a serious charge for making a false report about the placement of a bomb or the violent use of a weapon.
This offense is classified as a second-degree felony under Florida law.
